3 months after launch
Nuneaton-based CJ’s Restaurant and Bar is a local favourite, offering customers varied menus, live sports and themed nights.
They needed an easy-to-use and responsive website to showcase their offering. UX was also crucial for customers wishing to easily browse the menus and book a table .
We worked with the team to break down the customer experience and highlight the key information customers came to the site to access. We identified mobile-first design would be key to the success of the site as the large majority of their visitors were accessing the site via mobile devices and the existing site was not ideal for this type of traffic. With this information guiding the site build, we created a website that clearly displayed the different menus for various evenings in an easy-to-digest layout, accessible on mobile and desktop. The site also includes an online booking form with a clear call to action encouraging users to book immediately after each menu viewing, as well as the addition of an online order system for the launch of their local delivery service.
Since the launch of the new site, the CJ’s team has reported success upon success of their new digital experience.
They have experienced a 41% increase in web traffic and a major increase in booking enquiries, as well as consistently selling over 200 Sunday dinners (a 30% increase).
